Big Scrub Rainforest Day
Discover the Big Scrub
19th Annual Big Scrub Rainforest Day
The 19th annual Big Scrub Rainforest Day was held on the weekend of the 14th and 15th October! One of Australia’s largest annual environment and community events, this year people came along and braved the rain to events across the Big Scrub region to restore rainforest and discover our rainforests. Over 2400 trees were planted as part of the celebrations. Thank you to everyone that attended.
The 2017 event was presented by Big Scrub Landcare in association with Rous County Council and is sponsored by: Brookfarm, Lismore City Council, Stone & Wood and Rainforest Rescue. In addition it had support from regional businesses, Landcare groups and other bodies. Thank you to everyone involved in presenting the 2017 event.
